Sober Solutions provides it’s clients with a number of services.  The following assessments and group counseling sessions are currently available.

 

ASSESSMENTS OFFERED

In Custody Substance Abuse Evaluations Substance Abuse and Criminal Justice Assessments conducted while the individual is incarcerated.
Psychological / Mental Health A comprehensive clinical interview with the individual, which includes Brief Psychological Rating Scale Assessment, Mental State Examination and Global Appraisal of Needs (GAIN) assessment/testing.

A comprehensive clinical interview with the client, completed by a State Licensed and Certified Psychologist (Dr. Richard J. Sassatelli).  Testing can include I.Q. testing and/or an MMPI.

Drug Screens and Alcohol Testing Comprehensive urine and hair testing for drugs and alcohol.
Substance Abuse Program Adult Outpatient treatment for individuals who have demonstrated a history of drug or alcohol abuse or dependence.
Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Program An outpatient substance abuse / dependence program for persons with repeated or chronic related substance abuse disorders.  The program consists of multiple group sessions weekly for 26 weeks.  (6 months minimum term of care).
Batterers’ Intervention Program  (Men and/or Women) A 29 week educational intervention course for persons who have been arrested and charged with Battery (Domestic) or who have been served a No Contact order or an Injunction for Protection. (Intimate relationships).
Anger Management Intervention Program An 8-10 hour (once weekly) educational intervention program designed for individuals who have been arrested for (non-intimate) battery offenses or who have been deemed appropriate by a referring authority.  (Courts, Probation, etc.)
DUI Treatment Program Treatment Services for individuals who have been charged or convicted of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances and/or charged or convicted of alcohol or drug related Reckless Driving

Services also provided for persons convicted of DUI offenses from out of state who now reside in the State of Florida.

Restorative Justice Program A 26 week cognitive, behavioral program for individuals who are involved in the criminal justice or dependency court system as a result of some sort of criminal / deviant behavior.  Primary focus is on substance abuse, cognitive restructuring, behavior modification, continuing criminal enterprise.
Parenting Skills Program A 17 hour program for parents.  Course curriculum includes content areas of Basic Parenting Skills, Parenting Styles, Consistency in Parenting, Effective Communication, Raising Confident Children, Encouraging Positive Behaviors, Conflict Resolution, Incorporation of Blended Families, Discipline versus Punishment, Logical and Natural Consequences.
